Co-founder and Managing Partner of Foresight Performance Partners, and the operating force behind how the firm improves China e-commerce performance day to day.
Fifteen years operating China e-commerce businesses, learning how the platforms actually behave rather than how they are supposed to behave.
Johnny Yang has spent 15 years at the operating edge of China e-commerce, where small decisions in traffic, merchandising, promotion, and conversion compound into significant differences in commercial performance. His approach is intensely analytical: test continuously, examine what changed, understand why, and apply what works.
That work happens at a level of detail few senior operators sustain. Traffic sources, bidding structures, promotion mechanics, product mix, and conversion behavior are examined continuously, not as isolated metrics but as parts of the same commercial system. The objective is straightforward: understand what is driving performance now, identify where value is being left on the table, and act on it quickly.
Johnny spent much of his career at Baozun, one of China's largest e-commerce operators, ultimately serving as Luxury Director and leading e-commerce operations for global luxury brands across China's major platforms. He co-founded Foresight Performance Partners with Jacques Roizen in February 2026, bringing that depth of execution to deliver measurable improvements in revenue, marketing efficiency, and profitability.
